The Magic Backpack was an idea Little Rossi and I played around with after we picked up all her back to school supplies.
I love film making and love the idea of capturing fun moments with my daughter. Most of this was her idea. She organized and dressed the “set” while I played with lighting. We shot it in the sun room, so lots of natural light. I used a tripod but without an adapter for the iPhone I had to secure the phone with gaffe tape – resourcefulness!
Not to worry, I’m making a wish list at B&H.
I took over 160 images and edited the shots down to about 120. Peyton moved all the pieces in between shots and tried to remain consistent with her position – I’m a proud mama.
I used Windows Live Movie Maker for the edit. It was really simple to use. And let us play around with how long each image should run in order to get the rhythm we wanted.
Take a look and let us know what you think.
